Students struggle to learn after Vanuatu relocation

A teacher working on Maewo in Vanuatu with students relocated from Ambae following volcanic activity says they are struggling to learn anything due to a lack of resources and facilities.

Nearly seventy secondary school students were moved by the government along with their teachers several weeks ago after months of heavy ashfall and uncertainty on Ambae.

Speaking from Maewo the deputy principal of Ambae's Navutiriki Secondary School, Issac Tanga, told Jenny Meyer the move has been challenging for his students.
