Public submissions begin on voluntary euthanasia bill

Yesterday was the first day for the public to make their case in person in Parliament for or against the legalisation allowing voluntary euthanasia. And if the first day is anything to go by, the next ten months will be a tense and divisive affair. David Seymour's bill - legalising assisted dying - passed its first hurdle last year by 76 votes to 44 - but there's no guarantee it will pass the second vote as easily. Our political reporter Craig McCulloch sat in on some of the submissions.
