Auckland Grammar revolts against NCEA

From Morning Report, 6:11 am on 30 May 2018

Auckland Grammar School is so unhappy with proposed changes to the NCEA it is developing its own exams to replace level one of the qualification. It says a ministerial advisory group's suggestion of abolishing level one exams would leave students ill-prepared for exams later in their school years. The headmaster of Auckland Grammar, Tim O'Connor, told our education correspondent, John Gerritsen the school has been creating its own programme for years 10 and 11.
