Queenstown Airbnb guests monitored by neighbours

A Queenstown councillor says some residents are taking it upon themselves to monitor how long Airbnb guests are staying in neighbouring rentals. Yesterday the economic impact of the online accommodation service was outlined in a report by Deloitte. It showed last year 1.4 million guests spent more than $750 million in New Zealand. But there's still friction with the traditional hotel industry and communities about where the money goes and whose benefiting from it. Tom Furley reports.
