Kura frustrated Māori education funds going to mainstream

Kura kaupapa leaders are frustrated that new funding to lift Māori achievement will be spent on mainstream teachers. They're at breaking point after years of inaction from the government, with some saying it could be time to take a case to the United Nations and the Waitangi Tribunal, to get the resourcing Māori-medium schools are crying out for. As RNZ Māori issues correspondent Leigh-Marama McLachlan reports, last month's Budget announcement was the last straw.
