From Morning Report, 8:41 am on 8 June 2018

Black Caps coach Mike Hesson has unexpectedly quit just a year out from the Cricket World Cup. Mr Hesson spent six years in the role and oversaw one of New Zealand Cricket's most successful eras that included the Black Caps' first World Cup final appearance in 2015. At his press conference, the Otago native said he loved every minute of the job but could no longer commit to the rigors of international cricket coaching.
