Shane Jones explains Fonterra attack

Outspoken Regional Development Minister Shane Jones has lashed out at another big New Zealand company - this time Fonterra. In March Mr Jones was reprimanded by Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern for attacking Air New Zealand, when he said it was neglecting the regions and called for its chair to resign. Shane Jones says he told Fonterra at Field Days yesterday that it should focus less on interfering in politics and more on justifying the money it lost overseas. He explained what he meant to reporters at Parliament.
