Water bottling law must change - Marama Davidson

Green Party supporters are angry one of its own has given approval for a Chinese water bottling company to expand. The Land Information Minister Eugenie Sage on Wednesday approved the expansion of the Otakiri Springs water bottling plant near Whakatane. The Greens campaigned on banning new water bottling consents. Hundreds of commenters have lashed out on Ms Sage's Facebook page, with many labelling her a "sell-out". Green Party co-leader Marama Davidson tells Susie Ferguson they're accountable to the decision and are making it a priority to change the law.
