Hacker attack on UK hospitals reveal security gaps in NZ

A report released after last year's ransomware attack which crippled the UK's National Health Service has revealed gaps in the systems here designed to protect vital hospital equipment from cyber assaults. Ransomware attacks are malware encrypted data, which infect devices and then demand a ransom. And a report from the Counties Manukau District Health Board says providing robust protect is a difficult job.
