Holly Arrowsmith live at RNZ

From RNZ Music, 2:00 pm on 7 July 2018

New Mexico born, Arrowtown raised, singer-song-writer Holly Arrowsmith is a writer of emotionally revealing, honest and thoughtful songs. Since her debut EP The River made waves in 2013, Holly has released two studio albums.

She was nominated for a Silver Scroll for her song ‘Love Will Be A River’, and the album it came from - For the Weary Traveller - won Best Folk album in the NZ Music Award in 2016.

2018 brings us the follow up A Dawn To Remember.

Music critic Graham Reid (Elsewhere) writes of this album: "These are strong, considered and finely focused songs - about the seasons of life and emotional place, and come with a genuinely poetic turn of phrase."

She joined Tony Stamp in the RNZ studio to tell us about it, and perform two new songs.
