Singer-songwriter Reb Fountain has spent 20 years travelling, performing, studying, recording and working as a musician and songwriter.
Reb is performing at The Others Way Festival in Auckland, and her third solo album is soon to be released.
Her previous album ‘Hopeful & Hopeless’ won the Best NZ Country Artist/Album award and the APRA Country Music Song award in 2018.
In this episode of Friday Night Live we feature Reb performing in various RNZ sessions, and on stage over the past decade.
Reb Fountain was a highlight of The Last Waltz 40th Anniversary tribute show at the Aotea Centre in November 2017 with her cover of Joni Mitchell's 'Coyote'.
'Don't Think Twice It's Alright' was the song performed by Reb Fountain when The Gunslingers Ball collective hosted a Bob Dylan tribute show at the Wine Cellar in Auckland on April 4 2014.
Here is Reb Fountain performing for Music 101 hosted by Kirsten Johnstone in October 2008. The songs are 'January's Well', 'TAB', 'Ain't No Craft', and '78'.
Reb performed beautiful renditions of her songs 'Gold' and 'Hopeful and Hopeless', in session in July 2017.
And also fronted up with songs from her second album Little Arrows for NZ Live in September of that year:
