Land search and rescue staff are scouring the river on kayaks as they look for a 27-year-old woman who entered the water in Palmerston North on Wednesday.
Yesterday the body of an 11-year-old girl who also went underwater on Wednesday was found.
The river was high on Wednesday after overnight rain.
