Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has featured in the trailer for a new Neflix series produced by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

The Netflix documentary series, Live to Lead, was inspired by anti-apartheid activist and former South African President Nelson Mandela, the Duke of Sussex said early on in the trailer.

The drop of the trailer comes soon after Prince Harry and Meghan's own documentary series was released on Netflix, where they shared their own experience being in the royal family.

Live to Lead was about "leaders committed to making a difference in the world share their inspiring life stories in this series executive produced by Prince Harry and Meghan", its synopsis said.

As well as Ardern and Mandela, the trailer also features the names of social justice activist Bryan Stevenson, environmental activist Greta Thunberg, former US Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, former South African judge Albie Sachs, South African rugby player Siya Kolisi, and journalist and social-political activist Gloria Steinem.

Prince Harry and Meghan said the series was about people who have made brave choices.

"To fight for change, and to become leaders."

The series will be released on Netflix on 31 December.
