Chiefs halfback Finlay Christie has been banned for three weeks after pleading guilty to stamping on an opponent during his Super Rugby side's 16-7 win over the Western Force.

Scotland-born Christie replaced All Blacks halfback Tawera Kerr-Barlow, who was taken off the field for concussion protocols.
Christie, 22, was cited for stamping an opponent on the forehead as he tried to clear the ball from a ruck in the 41st minute.
The SANZAAR Foul Play Review Committee decided Christie breached laws on stamping or trampling on an opponent.
Committee chairman Nigel Hampton says while a "mid-range" ban of six weeks was considered, three weeks was given due to the lack of force Christie struck the Force player's head, his excellent disciplinary record and early guilty plea.
Christie will not be available for the Chiefs' next three games, against the Sunwolves on Saturday, the Reds (May 6) and Crusaders (May 19).
Kerr-Barlow will be assessed after his head knock and Brad Weber is still unavailable after breaking his leg.
