Politicians from almost every party in Parliament appeared at Rātana Pā on Wednesday, marking the unofficial start to the political year.
National Party leader and Prime Minister Christopher Luxon was there, with his coalition partner Deputy Prime Minister Winston Peters of New Zealand First.
The other coalition leader, ACT's David Seymour, was notably absent.
Labour's leadership team of Chris Hipkins and Carmel Sepuloni and several of their MPs were there, as were the Greens' Marama Davidson, New Zealand First's Shane Jones and National's deputy leader Nicola Willis and Māori Development and Māori-Crown Relations Minister Tama Potaka.
Te Pāti Māori MPs were welcomed onto the marae on Tuesday.
