Auckland jazz lovers are in for a treat on Monday night when the legendary Count Basie Orchestra plays at the Aotea Centre. A somewhat star-struck Nick Tipping spoke to the musical director of the Basie Orchestra, Scotty Barnhart, ahead of the long running big band’s visit.
