An official in Fiji has been found guilty of contempt for scandalising the courts in a case brought by the Attorney General's office.
Fiji Village reports the Air Terminal Services Employees Trust Chairman, Jay Dhir Singh, was found guilty over his comments at a press conference in January.
The trust represents air terminal workers who were involved in a dispute with Air Terminal Services earlier this year.
The news website reports the judge has ruled that Singh has to pay costs to the applicants, the Attorney General and the Civil Aviation Authority.
A further hearing will take place on July 3.
