Japan is giving Samoa $US1.8 million worth of medical equipment.

Both governments exchanged notes yesterday in Apia.
In addition to the equipment, Japan will provide technical assistance.
It is the second time this year Japan has given aid to the Samoan health sector, with dental equipment donated in February, while a mobile dental clinic is on the way.
