From , 5:02 am on 20 August 2018

A New-York based analytics company is helping Palau make the switch to renewable energy, free of charge.

Gridmarket signed an agreement with Palau's government a year ago and says it will start installing solar panels across the country in the coming months.

The company is backed by a number of private, institutional and government donors and provides the work at no cost to Palau's government.

Gridmarket chief executive Nick Davis told Mackenzie Smith the work in Palau is speeding ahead.
