Consternation over Fiji poll date delay

Today marks four years since Fiji's last general election and there's increasing impatience in Fiji that a poll date for the 2018 election has yet to be announced.

The electoral authorities say under the constitution an election must be held by November the 22nd.

A professor of politics at the University of the South Pacific Vijay Naidu spoke to Sally Round about some of the possible reasons for the delay.
