Fiji land row heads to court

A land dispute in Fiji is expected to see the villagers, their chief and the Lands Department face off in court.

Villagers from Tamavua claim their chief, Ratu Kalokalo Loki and the iTaukei Lands Trust Board, leased the Koromarau site in Suva without their knowledge or consent.

Village spokesman Kaminieli Tunisau told Christine Rovoi why the landowners are protesting.
