Singer-songwriter and te reo Māori teacher Aja Ropata is now working on her debut album after an eight-year break from making music.

Originally from Porirua, Aja is now based in Ōtautahi - Christchurch.

She plays us an acoustic version of the song 'Non-Handler' (about the disadvantages of digital technology) and chats to Jesse Mulligan.
