Making global headlines: two penguins and a sushi stand

Two penguins, a sushi stand and an RNZ reporter made global headlines this week. On Tuesday, we told you about the little blues that had tried to nest underneath a sushi store near Wellington's railway station. The story quickly went viral, with media organisations around the world sharing a short video of the penguins inside the sushi store that had been posted on Twitter by RNZ reporter Charlotte Cook. Charlotte told First Up producer Lydia Batham the day after the story went to air, interest started pouring in.
