It's been another tough day for those on the West Coast as the red heavy rain warning remained in place. Last night Westport residents were urged to self-evacuate and today Civil Defence ordered a compulsory evacuation of the worst hit areas.

10:33 South Canterbury farm reveals extraordinary sinkhole formation

Craigmore Station is a sheep, beef and deer farm in South Canterbury with a unique landscape which resembles the surface of the moon. The land is covered in sinkholes which geologists have described as one of the more remarkable formations found in New Zealand. David Bielski is the Craigmore Station manager and joins Karyn to explain how the sinkholes impact life on the farm.
