10:20  The "Perfect Storm' Pushing Petrol Prices Higher 

Last week the European Union announced further sanctions on Russia, putting increased pressure on the supply of oil. The Government's 25 cent fuel tax cut which was introduced on March 15 to address living costs is also due to expire in just over a month.

Principal policy advisor at AA Insurance Terry Collins said the war in Ukraine, pressure on supply, and the coronavirus pandemic were all part of a "perfect storm" contributing to rising costs.

19 year old Spaniard, Carlos Alcaraz is being hailed as the new superstar of tennis after winning the Madrid Open against the World No 3, German Alexander Zverev.  On his way to the top spot he beat the World No 1 Serbian, Novak Djokovic, and his idol and fellow Spaniard Rafael Nadal.
