Gangs to blame for recent Waikato killings - police

Police say gangs are to blame for three homicides in the Waikato region in the past three weeks. Robert Nelson was shot and killed in a Hamilton home on July 8. Last week Wayne Noda was found dead behind the Huntly power station. And three people have been arrested in connection with the death of Ngarawahia man Mitchell Paterson who was found at McLaren Falls south of Tauranga on Friday. Police have been appealing to the public for information and Waikato District Commander Superintendent Bruce Bird talks to Philippa Tolley.
