Blame game ongoing over access on Matt Lauer's Lake Hāwea land

The Government's playing the blame game over the stoush between an American millionaire and those who want more public access to his leasehold high country station in Otago. Hunter Valley Station, which surrounds the Hawea conservation park, was leased for 13 million dollars to former US TV news anchor Matt Lauer last year. The public accessway cuts through the station, but Mr Lauer's not keen on an easement for vehicles. Here's political reporter Gia Garrick.
