Matt Lauer not to blame for land dispute - Ann Brower

A dispute over access to conservation land via Hunter Valley Station land belonging to Matt Lauer has been described as a political blame game. Ann Brower, an environmental geographer at the University of Canterbury, has spent years looking at how the New Zealand's high country crown leases are managed. She says the stoush is not Mr Lauer's fault, but the blame lies with the Commissioner of Crown Lands.
