Waiouru Military Camp misconduct allegations: Army chief 'bitterly disappointed'

From Morning Report, 7:10 am on 26 July 2018

The New Zealand Army has been rocked by allegations of sexual misconduct at its training unit at the Waiouru Military Camp. Commanding officers and instructors have been stood down after a male recruit came forward last month saying he'd been subject to bullying, harassment and sexual assault. The military police are now investigating alleged incidents dating back to May 2017. Major General Peter Kelly is the Chief of Army, and joins Philippa Tolley in the studio to discuss.
