Govt signals more changes to foreign student work rights

The government has alarmed tertiary institutions by signalling it will make more changes to foreign students' right to work in New Zealand. It's planning changes to the rules for working while studying, building on previously announced changes to students' post-study work visas. Immigration Minister Iain-Lees Galloway told RNZ political editor Jane Patterson he knows work-rights are important for attracting students to New Zealand.
