Valerie Morse, Stephen Franks debate Southern-Molyneux event

From Morning Report, 7:45 am on 27 July 2018

Controversial far-right speakers Lauren Southern and Stefan Molyneux will speak in New Zealand after all. Their promoter has confirmed the duo have found a location, after Auckland mayor Phil Goff banned them from all council venues earlier this month. The Canadian pair have been accused of hate speech by the organisation Auckland Peace Action which says they shouldn't be given a platform for their views. Defending their right to speak is the Free Speech Coalition, which launched and later withdrew urgent legal action against Mr Goff. We're joined by Auckland Peace Action spokesperson Valerie Morse and a member of the Free Speech Coalition, Stephen Franks.
