More hardship grants handed out to over-65s

Pensioners are increasingly turning to Work and Income for help to pay for essentials like food, power and housing. Figures from the Ministry of Social Development show that in the last five years there's been a 50 percent increase in the number of hardship grants being handed out to over-65s. That's prompted concern about whether superannuation payments are keeping with living costs.
