Joel Amosa crowned winner of 2018 Lexus Song Quest

Bass baritone singer Joel Amosa won the 2018 Lexus Song Quest grand final on Saturday night. His victory is the fifth time in 10 years that a New Zealander of Samoan heritage has won the competition.

It's New Zealand's most prestigious competition for singers and an award that has launched the careers of some of the country's most famous opera singers - Dame Kiri Te Kanawa and Dame Malvina Major.
