Concerns raised over new high country sale

From Morning Report, 8:19 am on 1 August 2018

The property includes almost one thousand hectares, known as Riversdale Flats, which were originally meant to be set aside for inclusion in a national park. Earlier Forest and Bird spokesperson Jen Miller says we've lost an opportunity to save a very rare environment. Jerome Sheppard is Land Information NZ's deputy chief executive of Crown property. He joins Susie Ferguson in the studio.
