Public health key issue in cannabis referendum - Little

From Morning Report, 8:27 am on 1 August 2018

The Justice Minister, Andrew Little, says public health concerns will be a deciding factor in whether an upcoming referendum on cannabis is binding or not. Under the coalition arrangements with the Greens, a non-binding referendum on legalising the personal use of cannabis will be held at or before the 2020 general election. Andrew Little tells Susie Ferguson they are consulting with other parties at the moment over whether the vote should be binding or not.
