Massey's call to ban Don Brash visit condemned

There is growing condemnation of Massey University's decision to ban Don Brash from speaking on its campus. On Tuesday, Massey's vice-chancellor cited security risks as its reason for cancelling an event involving the former National Party leader. The University of Auckland won't be following Massey University's decision. A University of Auckland debate - on free speech - will be going ahead on Wednesday and Mr Brash is taking part. University of Auckalnd Debating society president Chris Ryan told reporter Matthew Theunissen that Mr Brash is welcome.
