Kidney Health 'surprised' NZers awaiting dialysis

From Morning Report, 8:11 am on 13 August 2018

Kidney Health New Zealand says it's surprised and concerned that New Zealand dialysis patients are waiting longer due to ineligible immigrants turning up for emergency care. Documents from Immigration New Zealand reveal the ministry of health has had to ration dialysis, and reduce patient sessions below the minimum acceptable standard. It also says they have had to stop training some patients for home dialysis. The national education manager of Kidney Health New Zealand is Gregan-Ford. She talks to Guyon Espiner.
