WWII anti-aircraft shell detonated after Lower Hutt find

From Morning Report, 8:28 am on 13 August 2018

An unexploded anti-aircraft shell discovered by two children and their grandparents has been detonated despite the kids pleas to take the explosive to show and tell at school. The projectile, a World War Two era artillery round, was discovered during a family walk in the Belmont Regional Park near Lower Hutt two weeks ago. Constable Rob Eastham was the officer in charge of the police response. He talks to Susie Ferguson.
