Quinovic advertising campaign causes outrage

Property management company Quinovic has distanced itself from a social media campaign that suggested tenants weren't paying enough rent. The campaign, set up by the Te Aro franchise in Wellington, had one advertisement that featured beer glasses with the caption "Cheers to you! Are you financing your tenant's social life?". Last night a small protest was held outside the Quinovic office in Te Aro. Quinovic has removed the campaign and apologised for it, saying it wasn't intended to offend tenants. Quinovic declined to be interviewed by Morning Report. We talk to Renters United spokesperson Kate Day.
