Smartphone ban test a success at Otago school - Insight

An Otago school is crediting it's newly introduced ban on mobile phones for improving student attention in the classroom. Schools across New Zealand are grappling with how to stop young people from being distracted by digital devices. From next week, a nationwide ban on phones in schools comes into force in France. Insight's reporter Teresa Cowie has been visiting schools here to find out how they are managing mobile mayhem inside the school gate.
