Obama commuted Manning, NZ need not concern - Kaplan

Immigration officials expect to say today whether they will give US whistleblower Chelsea Manning a visa to visit New Zealand on a speaking tour. Last night tour organisers in Australia said she's been refused a visa there - a decision they will appeal. The reason for the refusal her conviction for leaking 750-thousand classified documents to Wikileaks. Chelsea Manning was jailed for 35 years but was released after President Barack Obama commuted the sentence in one of his final acts in office. Susie Ferguson speaks with US journalist and author Fred Kaplan about Australia's decision to ban Ms Manning.
