Families to lose out with Plunket changes - nurses

From Morning Report, 7:10 am on 11 September 2018

Nurses say Plunket plans to cut its universal service meaning babies from better-off families will miss out entirely or be restricted to ten minute checks. The 111-year-old institution denies it is making any changes but an internal document obtained by RNZ strongly suggests otherwise. It contains a proposal to shift Auckland staff to high-need areas in the city and says other suburbs there could be fewer home visits and parents might have to travel further to go to a clinic. RNZ reporter Phil Pennington is looking into this. He talks to Alex Perrottet.
