Compensation unlikely for private tenants in meth testing saga

Private landlords who followed the now-discredited meth testing regime say they'll consider a class law suit if they don't get government compensation. Hundreds of state housing tenants are to be compensated for being wrongly evicted from their homes on the basis of flawed drug testing. The Property Investors Federation executive officer, Andrew King, says private landlords lost big money after sticking to the guidelines. He says the federation will be talking to its lawyers about its options. Michael Sharp is a lawyer who's represented tenants caught up in what's now being called the 'meth hysteria'.
