Needles found in strawberries sold at Auckland Countdown
A supply chain expert has called the needles found in strawberries in Australia and now here in New Zealand a form of food terrorism. Needles have been found in a punnet of strawberries sold at the St Lukes Countdown in Auckland that were imported from Western Australia. Police launched an investigation in Australia earlier this month where there have been more than 100 reports of needles being found in strawberries there. Nigel Grigg is the Professor of Quality Systems at Massey University. He talks to Gyles Beckford.
