A seriously injured round-the-world yachtsman stranded in the middle of the Indian Ocean has been rescued. Yachtsman Abhilash Tomy was participating in the Golden Globe race when a storm badly damaged his boat. Mr Tomy sent a message to race organisers saying he had a severe back injury and was unable to eat or drink, sparking a multinational rescue mission. Located 3,200km off the coast of Western Australia, it was no easy feat. Kim Hill speaks to Golden Globe Race director Don McIntyre.
