From Morning Report, 7:29 am on 26 September 2018

Foreign patients who don't pay their bills are costing Auckland's hospitals $10 million a year. The three Auckland district health boards have written off more than $50 million in five years in unpaid debts run up by foreigners. More than 100 ineligible patients are treated each year at Green Lane Hospital's eye clinic alone. RNZ reporter Gill Bonnett has been looking at the figures and joins Guyon Espiner in the studio.
