From Morning Report, 7:49 am on 28 September 2018

The government says ACC will have to make a compelling case before there is any increase in its petrol levy or the cost of vehicle registration. The proposed changes could add another two cents to the price of fuel and 15 dollars more to the cost of registering your car. The ACC Minister, Iain Lees-Galloway told reporters it will be a tough job to convince the government of the need for any change. Mark Stockdale is a policy analyst for the Automobile Association.
