Bowel screening plan benefits Pākehā more than Māori - expert

Health officials are under pressure to screen Māori for bowel cancer 10 years earlier than others. Māori cancer specialists are demanding changes to a national screening programme that would allow Māori only to be screened from the age of 50. The screening age for everyone else is 60. RNZ health correspondent Karen Brown has the details.
