Bowel screening plan benefits Pākehā more than Māori - expert

Health officials are under pressure to screen Māori for bowel cancer 10 years earlier than others. Māori cancer specialists are demanding changes to a national screening programme that would allow Māori only to be screened from the age of 50. The screening age for everyone else is 60.
