Petrol prices: Commerce Commission to investigate fuel market

The pain at the petrol pump has prompted the Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern to push through law changes to investigate rising prices. Petrol prices have reached record highs and Jacinda Ardern yesterday pointed the finger at fuel importers and their margins. Ms Ardern is pushing through a law change to give the Commerce Commission new powers to investigate the fuel market. It can't come soon enough for some motorists RNZ spoke to on Monday.
