Bodyless murder trial begins in Palmerston North

A jury has heard a dispute over money led to a Feilding man shooting his friend, Bretton Hall. David Lyttle's defence team says their client had nothing to do with Mr Hall's death and the police manipulated him through an elaborate undercover operation designed to gain a confession. Mr Hall, who was known as Brett, disappeared in May 2011.
